Hey jet-setters! Olivia here. During my entrepreneurial adventures, I’ve hopped from one airport to another and discovered some cool spots to kick back and relax. So, if you’re passing through Portland Airport (PDX), here’s the 411 on the VIP lounges you absolutely have to check out!
1. Alaska Lounge ️
Find this spot next to gate C5. Open between 4:30 am to 10:30 pm. From snacks and drinks to Wi-Fi and reading material, they’ve got everything. Wanna get in? Look to memberships like American Airlines Admirals Club or Alaska Airlines Board Room, or simply fly first class with Alaska Airlines or with any Oneworld airline if you’re in the executive class. Oneworld members with Emerald or Sapphire status, you’re in too!
2. Delta Sky Club ⚡
Situated between gates D5 & D7, they roll out the red carpet from 4:15 am to 0:15 am. Need a charge? They’ve got outlets! Hungry? They have a bar and meals. Entry paths include Delta Sky Club membership, being a first-class or executive class passenger with Delta Air Lines or any SkyTeam airline, holding certain American Express cards, or simply dropping $59 at the door.
3. United Club
Directly facing gate E3, swing by anytime between 4:30 am to 11:00 pm. Sip on beverages, munch on snacks, and even host a conference! Entry is granted to United Club or Air Canada Maple Leaf Club members, executive or first-class flyers of United Airlines or any Star Alliance airline, certain status holders, active US military personnel, or a $59 door fee.
4. USO Lounge
Located in the terminal mezzanine, they’re open weekdays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. A comfy space offering drinks, entertainment, workstations, and event tickets. Just for our military heroes and their families.
Around the Airport
Apart from these swanky lounges, PDX boasts currency exchange hubs, ATMs, postal services, and free Wi-Fi. Need a spot for a business meet? The terminal mezzanine has a conference center. Craving a bite? Dive into a variety of restaurants, cafes, and bars. Shopaholic? Grab souvenirs, clothes, gadgets, or even a book. Lost something? Reach out to the lost and found, located near entrance 10, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on weekdays. Also, don’t miss out on the cinema, art displays, and even a shoe shine spot!
