Located just to the left after the security checkpoint, this lounge swings its doors open one hour before any Qantas flight takes off. It boasts a buffet, bar, computers, Wi-Fi, printers, meeting room, showers, and even a kid’s area. To get in, you’ll need a membership like Qantas Platinum One, Platinum Frequent Flyer, Gold Frequent Flyer, Qantas Club, Emirates Platinum, or Gold Skyward. Flying first class or business with Qantas and Oneworld airlines? You’re in! Also, Emerald and Sapphire members are welcome aboard.
Virgin Australia Lounge
Head to the southern end of the terminal, right by gates 1 and 2. It’s open 60 minutes before the first Virgin Australia flight until the last one. Expect complimentary food and drinks, showers, TV, Wi-Fi, newspapers, magazines, and executive facilities. How to enter? Have a Virgin Australia Lifetime Lounge, Velocity Platinum or Gold membership. Worried about your luggage? Opt for a protective sealing in front of the check-in counters. You can find lockers near the terminal in the short-term parking area from 6:15 am to 9:00 pm. Lost something? Head to the management office at the north end of the terminal between 8:00 am-10:00 am and 5:00 pm-7:00 pm or fill out their online form.
