VIP Lounge Airport Wellington

Air New Zealand International Lounge – Situated in the international boarding area, this lounge opens its doors 90 minutes before flight departures. Expect light snacks, a stocked bar, Wi-Fi, executive facilities, newspapers, magazines, TVs, and even showers. How to get in? Access is granted with a Koru Club membership, Airpoints Gold or Elite, if you’re flying Air New Zealand’s executive or first class, Star Alliance’s executive class, or if you’re a Star Alliance Gold member.

Air New Zealand Regional Lounge – Available from an hour before the first flight to the last one’s departure. Located on the first floor, before security checks, it boasts a buffet, bar, Wi-Fi, workstations, power outlets, photocopiers, printers, and a dose of news via newspapers and TV. Same access rules apply as the International Lounge.

Qantas International Business Lounge – Located in the international boarding zone, its operational hours vary. Generally, it’s open from 4:30 am to 6:30 am, with afternoon slots either from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm or 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm. A place to wine, dine, and relax with a restaurant, bar, showers, Wi-Fi, and reading materials. Entry? With a Qantas Platinum One, Platinum or Gold Frequent Flyer card, Qantas Club membership, Emirates Platinum or Gold Skyward card, or if flying first or business class with Qantas, Emirates, or any Oneworld airline. Members of Emerald or Sapphire also get the VIP treatment.

Virgin Australia Lounge – Right next to gate 48 and opens up 90 minutes prior to each flight. This space offers internet access, reading materials, buffet, drinks, TV, and power outlets. You can enter if you have a Virgin Australia Lounge membership, are a Velocity Platinum or Gold member, or are flying Virgin Australia’s executive class.

Amenities & Services Overview

You’ll find ATMs, currency exchange facilities (operating from 4:00 am to 7:30 pm), VIP lounges, mobile phone services, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Shopaholics can indulge in duty-free shopping in the international section, grab essentials from a convenience store near the baggage claim, or explore cosmetics, apparel, newspapers, souvenirs, jewelry, and electronics.
