Hey fellow globetrotters! Let’s dive into the VIP lounge scene at the Port Louis Airport. These are my go-to spots for that touch of luxury and comfort during my travels. Here we go!
Amédée Maingard Lounge
– Exclusively for international flights
– Located post-security, right across Gate 27.
– Open from 6:00 am to 10:30 pm, but hey, remember you can only stay for a max of 3 hours.
– Amenities? Oh, they’ve got it all! Computers, snacks, refreshing showers, newspapers, magazines, Wi-Fi, TV, A/C, beverages, fax, and even a kiddo area. ️
– Getting in: Rock your Kestrelflyer Elite, Priority Pass, Lounge Club, DragonPass, Diners Club membership. Flying Air Mauritius business class? You’re in! Alternatively, reserve online or pay at the door.
ATOL Lounge ️
– Right in front of Gate 19 and swings its doors open from 5:00 am to 11:30 pm.
– Dive into their buffet, hit the bar, stay connected with Wi-Fi, unwind with some reading material, or freshen up with a shower. They even have baby care facilities!
– Wanna get in? It’s €40.00 at the door.
Salon Nénuphar
– Operating hours? 5:00 am to 11:30 pm, situated in front of Gate 19.
– Strictly for international flights, with a 3-hour max stay.
– They offer A/C, drinks, phones, Wi-Fi, TV, nibbles, showers, and a baby care room.
– Access via Priority Pass, Lounge Club, Diners Club membership or book it online.
Facilities & Services Galore!
Port Louis Airport has you covered with currency exchange houses, ATMs, a post office, VIP lounges, charging points for your gadgets, public phones, and free Wi-Fi for a cool 3 hours. Looking for a meeting spot? The nearby Holiday Inn hotel offers meeting rooms.
Gastronomy – Hungry? Multiple restaurants await in the arrivals and departure zones. And, don’t miss the café on Level 1. ☕
Shopping – Duty-free shops beckon in the departure lounge and baggage claim. Discover perfumes, cosmetics, tobacco, liquor, sweets, apparel, handicrafts, jewelry, books, and flowers. ️
