Air New Zealand Domestic Lounge – Nestled on the first floor right opposite Gate 33. The doors swing open an hour before the first flight and only close after the last one departs. Offering an array of services like a sumptuous buffet, delightful snacks, a fully-stocked bar, high-speed Wi-Fi, dedicated workstations, power outlets for your gadgets, photocopying, printing, and a variety of newspapers and magazines. There’s even a dedicated kiddie zone and refreshing shower facilities. Who gets in? Those with a Koru Club membership, Airpoints Gold or Elite members, business class travelers of Air New Zealand, first and business class guests of Star Alliance airlines, and Star Alliance Gold members.
International Terminal
Air New Zealand International Lounge – Positioned to the left of the security checkpoint but is temporarily closed. Once inside, you’ll find meals, snacks, a bar, Wi-Fi, computers, printers, newspapers, magazines, TV, and showers. Access? Same as the Domestic Lounge.
Emirates Lounge – Located on the upper floor but currently not operational. Awaiting you are gourmet meals, premium drinks, fast Wi-Fi, and showers. Entry? For Skywards Gold or Platinum members, and Emirates’ first and business class passengers.
Qantas International Lounge – Situated on level 2, albeit temporarily shut. On offer are tasty food, drinks, Wi-Fi, and reading materials. Who’s welcome? Qantas Platinum One, Platinum Frequent Flyer, Gold Frequent Flyer, Qantas Club, Emirates Platinum or Gold Skyward members, first and business class passengers of Qantas, Emirates, and Oneworld alliance members, and those with Emerald or Sapphire status.
Strata Lounge – Also on level 2 but temporarily closed. Facilities include computers, snacks, showers, newspapers, magazines, Wi-Fi, TV, air-conditioning, beverages, and fax. How to get in? Through Priority Pass, DragonPass, Diners Club membership, or by paying at the door.

Shopaholics can rejoice with an array of stores. Find duty-free goods on the first floor and ground level of the International Terminal and before the Domestic Terminal’s security checkpoint. Stores range from regional products, apparel, sports gear, electronics, perfumes, gifts, liquors, art, cosmetics, jewelry, books, accessories, to newsstands and candy. There are also convenience stores in the public area of the Domestic Terminal.
Luggage
Complimentary carts are scattered across both terminals. There’s a protective sealing service for luggage and a baggage storage facility near Gate 3 of the International Terminal, available during flight hours. Lockers can be found on the ground floor of parking R. Lost something? The lost and found office is situated in the operations building, behind the International Terminal. It operates from Monday to Friday between 10:30 am and 5:30 pm.
Additional Amenities
For those unforeseen circumstances, there’s a medical center and pharmacies. Other facilities include baby care rooms, travel agency, showers, prayer rooms, and a designated smokers’ lounge.
