Hello, fellow travelers! It’s Olivia here, sharing a slice of my extensive airport knowledge, especially when it comes to those coveted VIP lounges. Here’s a breakdown of what Monterrey Airport has to offer:
Terminal A:
American Express Centurion Club – Found next to Gate 4, this spot is open from 5:00 am to 9:00 pm. It boasts comfy chairs, internet service, TV, snacks, and newspapers. How to get in? Holders of the American Express Platinum or Centurion cards are welcome.
OMA Premium Lounge – Right by Gate 12, it’s open from 5:00 am to 10:00 pm, but keep in mind, you can stay for a max of 3 hours. Amenities include air conditioning, newspapers, magazines, TV, snacks, drinks, and Wi-Fi. Access granted to those with Priority Pass, LoungeKey, or Diners Club memberships. Otherwise, you can book online or pay at the door for USD30.00.
Terminal B:
Aeroméxico – Salón Premier – Located on the second floor opposite Gate B10 and open from 5:00 am to 8:00 pm. It offers computers, snacks, drinks, conference facilities, fax, TV, air conditioning, newspapers, magazines, phones, and Wi-Fi. Access options are vast: Aeroméxico Salón Premier, Club Premier Platinum, Corporate Platinum or Titanium memberships, Priority Pass, LoungeKey, Diners Club, executive class passengers of Aeroméxico and SkyTeam airlines, SkyTeam Elite Plus members, and certain credit card holders. Entry fee at the door is USD43.00.
American Express Centurion Club – Positioned opposite Gate 4, it operates from 5:00 am to 9:00 pm. Like its Terminal A counterpart, it offers a cozy environment with all the essentials.
OMA Premium Lounge – Open from Sunday to Friday between 5:00 am and 9:00 pm, and on Saturdays from 5:00 am to 8:00 pm. You’ll find it near the stairs on the second floor. The terms of stay and access are similar to the Terminal A version, with an entry fee of 29.00.
Terraza Premier Aeroméxico By Heineken – After the security checkpoint, on the second floor, it’s open from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm. It’s packed with features, including TV, air conditioning, newspapers, conference facilities, Wi-Fi, computers, snacks, and drinks. Entry criteria align with the Aeroméxico Salón Premier.
Terminal C:
OMA Premium Lounge – Located in the boarding area, it welcomes guests from 5:00 am to 10:00 pm but only for domestic flights. Its amenities and access details mirror those of its Terminal A and B siblings, with an entry fee of USD30.00.
Facilities and Services:
The airport is equipped with currency exchange offices (8:00 am to 10:00 pm), ATMs, VIP lounges, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Nearby hotels like Hampton Inn, Best Western, and Courtyard offer business and conference facilities.
Dining:
Throughout the terminals, you’ll discover an array of restaurants, fast-food outlets, vending machines, cafes, bars, and ice cream parlors. Notably, Starbucks and Charamusca in Terminal C are open 24/7.
Shopping:
The shopping options are diverse, ranging from duty-free shops, souvenirs, handicrafts, sweets, books, newspapers, fashion and accessories, jewelry, electronics, to a mini-market.
Luggage:
Protective sealing for luggage is available in all three terminals from 2:00 am to 9:00 pm. If you misplace something, the lost and found office is in the administrative area of Terminal A. It’s operational from Monday to Saturday between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm.
