Hey there jet-setters! It’s Olivia here, your globe-trotting entrepreneur who’s spent a good chunk of time hopping in and out of airport lounges. I’m super excited to share the insider deets on the VIP lounges at the Queenstown Airport (ZQN). Let’s dive in!
VIP Lounges You Must Know
1. Air New Zealand Regional Lounge – Ready to kick back with a cocktail? Find this lounge on the top floor, just above the boarding gates. It’s open from an hour before the first flight until the last one touches down. You can enjoy a cozy bar, light snacks, reading material, TV, top-tier executive services, and of course, Wi-Fi. How to get in? Easy peasy if you’ve got a Koru Club membership, are an Airpoints Gold or Elite member, or if you’re flying business with Air New Zealand or any Star Alliance airlines. And if you’re a Star Alliance Gold member, you’re golden!
2. Manaia Lounge – Situated on level 1 of the terminal, this spot has slightly varied timings, so grab your calendar. Open on Monday and Thursday from 11:15 am to 12:45 pm and 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm. On Tuesday and Sunday, it’s open from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm. For all you mid-week travelers, hit it up on Wednesday and Saturday between 10:45 am to 12:15 pm, 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm, and 7:15 pm to 8:15 pm. And Friday? It’s open thrice – 10:45 am to 12:15 pm, 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm, and 7:15 pm to 8:15 pm. Remember, it’s exclusively for international flights with a 3-hour maximum stay. ✈️The lounge boasts computers, A/C, newspapers and magazines, phones, fax, TV, snacks, drinks, and of course, Wi-Fi. Access this lounge with a Priority Pass, DragonPass, Qantas Club, Platinum One, Platinum or Gold Frequent Flyers membership, or if you’re flying business with Qantas. Alternatively, you can always pay at the door.

Beyond the lounges, the airport is stacked with a bunch of facilities. There’s ATMs, currency exchange (open 8:00 am to 5:00 pm), a mailbox, mobile phone services, public phones, internet kiosks, and 24-hour free Wi-Fi. Hungry?
