Hey fellow travelers! It’s Olivia here. If you’re jet-setting around the globe like me, you’ll appreciate the comforts of VIP lounges. I’ve had the pleasure of passing through Hamburg Airport (HAM) numerous times, and let me spill the beans on what their VIP lounges have to offer:
VIP Lounges at Hamburg Airport (HAM)
Airport Lounge: Nestled on level 3 of the Airport Plaza, this haven is open from 5:30 am to 9:00 pm, but on Saturdays, it’s a shorter stint from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. You can stay for a maximum of 3 hours. Enjoy a bar, snacks, TV, newspapers, private alcoves, workstations, Wi-Fi, a relaxation zone, smoker’s lounge, and even showers. To get in, you can use your Priority Pass, LoungeKey, DragonPass, or Diners Club membership. Alternatively, book online or just pay at the door for €45.00.
Emirates Lounge: Also on level 3 of the Airport Plaza, this one’s for the night owls, opening from 3:40 pm to 2:00 am. It boasts showers, a business center, meals, and TV. Access is granted to Emirates’ first-class or executive class passengers, and Skywards Gold or Platinum members.
Lufthansa Lounge: Starting the day early at 5:00 am and wrapping up at 8:15 pm, you can find this space next to gate A19 in Terminal 2. It offers snacks, TV, beverages, newspapers, a smoking area, and Wi-Fi. For entry, flash your United Club or Air Canada Maple Leaf Club membership, be a first-class passenger of Lufthansa, Swiss International Air Lines, or a Star Alliance airline, or be a Miles & More HON Circle, Senator, or Star Alliance Gold member. Or simply pay at the entrance for €39.00.
Now, a bit about the airport’s facilities and services:
Gastronomy: A smorgasbord of dining options await. Think restaurants, cafes, fast-food joints, bars, and bakeries sprinkled across the terminals.
Shopping: Duty-free shops beckon on level 1. Plus, there are stores for souvenirs, apparel, jewelry, books, cosmetics, fragrances, news, flowers, and electronics.
Luggage: Need a cart? Grab one by the terminals or parking for €0.50-1.00. There’s also a baggage service, luggage storage on Terminal 2’s level 1 from 4:30 am to 11:00 pm, and suitcase sealing on Terminal 1’s arrivals level from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm. Lost something? Check with the information desk weekdays from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Additional Services: From showers, kid zones, a pharmacy, smoker’s booths, a casino, massage parlor, dental clinic, first-aid, travel agencies, laundry, prayer room, water fountains, to baby care facilities, they’ve got you covered!
